Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program ( MBSR )
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is the gold standard in mindfulness training, created by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. Though originally designed for stress management, it has been used for treating a variety of illnesses such as depression, anxiety, chronic pain, cancer, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, skin and immune disorders.
